Bespoke Ingredients

by

At MJ Petfoods & Proteins Ltd, we have a true understanding of meat production within the food industry and how the producers and processors are striving to increase edible meat yields. This changing market has had a direct impact on the pet food manufactures making it more challenging for them to meet legislative requirements for Calcium, Phosphorus and Protein declarations.

MJ have used their procurement expertise to source innovative, high quality Ingredients to provide bespoke solutions tailored to individual nutritional requirements.

Stability

by

We have created a new innovative product range offering a user friendly solution to guard against increased oxidation throughout the dry Pet Food manufacturing process and the finished dry pet food through the course of its shelf life. Designed to enable a species/ingredient specific product to be applied at any required addition rate to suit the raw materials and the manufacturing process.

Palatability

by

We process the finest of raw materials to create what is essentially an animal protein ‘flour’ with a higher protein / lower ash percentage and with a range of particle sizes to less than 1mm. This immediately creates an ingredient with greater palatability and is the perfect solution when creating baked products and treats.

Because a Dog and a Cat can’t talk…..

by

At MJ Petfoods & Proteins Ltd, we firmly believe in providing the highest quality materials every time.  By focusing on the raw materials, ensuring consistency of quality, analytical properties and palatability, your finished pet food production will remain consistent throughout production.  Sudden changes in raw material quality can change the taste, mouth feel and nutritional properties of your pet’s kibble which can often lead to the pet no longer finding the finished food palatable. The common solution for all pet owners is to try an alternative feed because as we all know, a Dog and a Cat can’t talk……  With our ingredient procurement expertise, we can help to alleviate the inevitable.
